Your role

As a Software Engineer, you will work on the development and maintenance of products within our business area Missile Systems. You will be a key person in the development of our future products and have the opportunity to broaden your area of responsibility and develop your technical skills.

As a software engineer, you will work in a cross-functional team consisting of 6-8 people who work according to Agile principles.

As we are on a growth journey, you have great opportunities to contribute to methods and ways of working.

Your profile

We place great importance on your personal qualities, but in combination with that, we believe you recognize yourself in one or more of the following areas of competence:

• Experience as a hardware-near software developer with good knowledge of C/C++.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
• Experience of Linux-based development environments.
• Knowledge in testing, continuous integration, maintenance of development environments, and security development.
• You enjoy collaborating in teams but can also work independently.
• You have experience working in an Agile environment.
• You are responsible and enjoy sharing your knowledge.

Location: Linköping

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
