About the position

The work as a lawyer with us involves qualified legal work as a legal representative for people with disabilities. As a legal representative, you will represent and assist our clients in their interactions with the municipality and the Social Insurance Agency. You will participate in investigations and help our clients appeal incorrect decisions and process cases in court. You will have daily contact with clients via phone or in person. As a lawyer at Humana Assistans, you will be part of a legal department with 20 competent lawyers across the country.

The position is a permanent employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible, or by agreement.

The place of employment is at our office in Gothenburg or our office in Lund.

Who are you?

You who are applying have a law degree or equivalent education from a university/college in Sweden and preferably experience and/or interest in social care and administrative law. If you have experience in personal assistance or another connection to people with disabilities, it is an advantage. You are driven and self-sufficient. You have the courage to challenge and act independently, while maintaining a strong customer focus, good collaboration skills, and a structured working method. Since you will act as a representative for individuals in vulnerable situations, we want you to be warm and empathetic with a positive outlook, as well as being able to easily create contacts and inspire trust. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.

To succeed in the role of lawyer with us, you must be fluent in both spoken and written Swedish. The position will involve visits to our clients across the country, therefore you need to have a B driver's license.
