Connect Bus (https://connectbus.se/) is a major Nordic public transport operator engaged in contract-regulated regional and urban transport as well as special transport services. The clients are mainly municipalities and regional public transport authorities. Overall, the group in Norway and Sweden consists of approximately 5000 employees, 2700 vehicles, and operates from 64 depots. Connect Bus is currently the third and fifth largest bus operator in Norway and Sweden, respectively. The group is the result of a consolidation of bus operators in Norway and Sweden.

Connect Bus is owned by CBRE Investment Management, and the goal is to establish a leading, stable, and sustainable Nordic bus operation that contributes to society's goals of increased mobility and reduced environmental impact.

Do you want to help develop an HR team in an organization that truly makes a difference – every day? We are now strengthening our HR organization and looking for an HR Specialist.

About the role
The team is relatively newly established in the organization – we have recently combined HR and HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) into a common structure and are on an exciting journey towards a more proactive HR approach. As an HR Specialist, you will play a central role in:

  • Being a coaching and qualified support to operations managers and business area managers in matters related to labor law, work environment, and various personnel issues
  • Driving and developing HR processes with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, and employer branding
  • Ensuring structure in salary reviews, salary mapping, and adaptation to new legal requirements, including the new salary transparency directive
  • Participating in implementing and establishing structures for how we will work in our new system supports – 4Human and ReachMee
  • Supporting during business transitions and personnel takeovers for won contracts

The position is based at the headquarters in Gothenburg, but travel may occur to build relationships and create presence in local operations.

Your background
You are an experienced HR Specialist who thrives in an operational and personnel-intensive environment. You have worked broadly within HR for at least five years and are used to providing qualified managerial support where the operations are close to everyday life and sometimes challenging.

We would like you to have:

  • Post-secondary education in HR/Human Resources
  • Experience in collective bargaining and collective agreements, preferably the Bus Industry Agreement, Taxi Agreement, and Motor Industry Agreement
  • A background in public transport, transport, logistics, or another personnel-intensive industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR processes and systems
