About Us

Central Child Health Care is part of the regional area of Health and Specialist Care for Children and Young People within Region Health.

The operation is regional and works for accessible, fair, and equitable child health care of good quality in the Västra Götaland region. Central Child Health Care is tasked with monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating health data and quality indicators from over 200 child health centers in the Västra Götaland region. The operation is responsible for following and disseminating current knowledge, driving method development, planning and conducting further education, and participating in regional and national networks. Central Child Health Care has about 25 employees based in Skövde, Vänersborg, Gothenburg, and Borås. The team includes specialist nurses as operational developers, child health care consultants, psychologists, dietitians, administrators, and speech therapists.

About the Job

As an administrator with us, you will have a varied job as the position includes many different tasks. The role involves responsibility for working with web-based information and ensuring it is clear, accurate, and accessible to all target groups. You will contribute to the development and updating of both the Learning Portal and the Regional Calendar, where an important part is to ensure that invitations, courses, and activities are presented in an informative, user-friendly, and uniform manner. The role also includes being office responsible, which involves booking venues/rooms/travel/snacks, ordering goods and services, and acting as a contact person for suppliers. You will work with everything from registration to invoicing regarding the training and events organized by Central Child Health Care. The job also includes handling documents including filing according to the document management plan.

Since our operation is regional with several service points, travel within VGR is included in the position.

About You

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education. We prefer that you have several years of experience in administrative work, preferably within the Västra Götaland region, and have good skills with computers and IT systems. You have the ability to write and structure content according to plain language principles and understand how digital communication needs to be designed to be easy to understand. Experience with administrative systems such as Public 360, Marketplace/Raindance, SOFIA/Sharepoint, websites, and the Learning Portal/Totara Learn is considered an advantage. You should also be proficient in Office programs and enjoy learning new administrative systems. We would appreciate if you have experience as LITA (Local IT-responsible) and as a superuser in our administrative systems, but this is not a requirement.

As a person, you are service-oriented and enjoy working together with other professionals around administrative systems and functions. You also thrive in working independently and have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your tasks on your own, as well as being able to shift focus when needed. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
