About the AssignmentWe are looking for a senior HR specialist who can support an HR function in a qualified change process related to the EU's pay transparency directive and the development of a new pay model for employees covered by the IF Metall collective agreement. You will work closely with both the business and trade unions, contributing with structure, analysis, and project management to ensure compliance, high quality, and effective implementation.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with legislation and translate the requirements of the pay transparency directive into local processes, routines, and working methods.
- Develop and establish routines, processes, and templates for information provision to employees and job seekers.
- Coordinate regular meetings with global HR (Magna Electronics) to interpret requirements, materials, and system support, and adapt to local needs.
- Project manage and/or participate in the development of pay reports, including data collection, quality assurance, analysis, and compilation.
- Lead and coordinate the development of a new pay model for employees in collaboration with unions and the business.
- Quality assure and update job descriptions and additional role descriptions for use in the pay model.
- Coordinate contacts with Corporate regarding systems, report templates, and global processes.
- Prepare decision-making documents and ensure a structured handover.
- University or college degree in HR, labor law, human resources, or equivalent, or documented extensive experience as an HR consultant/HR specialist in qualified assignments.
- At least 5 years of experience in a qualified HR role.
- Experience working with pay processes, pay mapping, or pay formation.
- Experience in project work within HR, including analysis, implementation, and follow-up.
- Experience collaborating with trade unions and negotiating according to MBL.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish labor law.
- Good knowledge of pay formation, pay structures, and pay mapping.
- Good understanding of HR processes, particularly in compensation and benefits.
- Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Advanced courses in labor law and/or pay formation.
- Experience in developing or revising pay models for employees in the industrial/production sector.
- Experience from the manufacturing industry or larger collective agreement governed organizations.
- Negotiation experience and experience working within the Technical Agreement and collective agreements such as IF Metall and Unionen.
- In-depth knowledge of the EU's pay transparency directive and its requirements.
- Knowledge of job evaluation methods and system support for pay mapping.
- Experience in HR data analysis and statistical work, for example in Power BI or advanced Excel.
