Do you want to lead one of the most relevant HR projects right now? We are looking for a senior HR consultant who wants to take full responsibility for the implementation of the EU's pay transparency directive and the development of a new pay model within the collective agreement area of IF Metall.
This is a role for you who combines deep labor law expertise with strong analytical skills and project management.
🎯Assignment in brief:You will:
Ensure compliance with upcoming requirements according to the Pay Transparency Directive
Translate legal requirements into local structures, routines, and processes
Lead the development of a new pay model for collective employees
Drive job evaluation, pay criteria, and level structure
Collaborate with trade union representatives and the business
Project manage pay reporting including analysis and quality assurance
Deliver decision-making materials to management
Ensure structured handover
You will step into a complex and business-critical project where structure, quality, and pace are crucial.
🎓Requirements profileWe are looking for someone who has:
✅University/college degree in HR, labor law, or personnel science or documented long experience from qualified HR assignments.
✅ At least 5 years of experience in a qualified HR role
✅ Experience in pay processes, pay mapping, or wage formation
✅ Led HR projects from analysis to implementation
✅ Collaboration and negotiation according to MBL
✅ Experience working in a collective agreement-driven environment
✅Very good knowledge of Swedish labor law
✅Deep understanding of wage formation, pay structures, and pay mapping
✅Good insight into HR processes within compensation & benefits
✅Good knowledge of collective agreements and union processes
✅Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
To succeed in the assignment, you need to have:
A strong analytical ability – you translate complex HR data into clear recommendations
The ability to work independently and in a structured manner
Very good communication skills and be trustworthy
Experience developing pay models for collective employees in the industry
Experience from the manufacturing industry
In-depth knowledge of the EU's Pay Transparency Directive
Knowledge of job evaluation methods
HR data analysis (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel)
Experience with the Teknikavtalet / IF Metall / Unionen
📍 Location: Vårgårda
🏢 On-site presence: At least 3 days/week on-site (about 25% remote work possible)
📅 Assignment period: February 23, 2026 – August 23, 2026, with the possibility of extension
⏳ Scope: Full-time 100%
