The company is one of the leading wholesalers in the Nordic region within the pet trade and represents several strong international brands. With approximately 16,000 item numbers and around 180 suppliers, they are a central player in the market.

The business is in an exciting phase of digital development where structure, system understanding, and qualitative item data are crucial to meet the increasing demands from customers and partners. Here, entrepreneurial spirit is combined with extensive experience – and now they are looking for reinforcement to further strengthen the digital backbone of the organization.

About the role

We are now looking for a person who wants to work with item and PIM data. This is an operational and important role where you act as the link between purchasing and the KAM organization. You will have clear ownership of item management and PIM data and be responsible for ensuring that the right information is in the right place, at the right time.

Your tasks will include:

• Collecting product data from sales, purchasing, and suppliers
• Ensuring, structuring, and updating PIM data
• Gathering product images from suppliers
• Supporting KAM with listings and ensuring accurate customer information
• Creating and quality-assuring product descriptions

This is a role where you work both systematically in systems and are ready to be hands-on when needed.

Employment form

The position is a part-time assignment via StudentConsulting where you work as a consultant for the client. The scope is 2–3 days per week, with flexible scheduling during weekdays in dialogue with the business. The work is performed on-site at the office in Vara. The assignment starts immediately and initially runs until the summer, with good opportunities for extension.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who:

• Is studying or has another main occupation, preferably in IT or a related field.
• Has good system experience and feels comfortable in digital environments.
• Is familiar with Excel and business systems.
• Expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and is comfortable with English.

As a person, you are structured and meticulous, with a natural inclination for order and tidiness. You take responsibility for your tasks, drive them forward independently, and ensure they are completed. You thrive in a role where you can be the link between different functions and find it easy to collaborate while also being willing to take your own initiative. Furthermore, you are unpretentious and solution-oriented – you have no problem rolling up your sleeves when needed and see the value in both the details and the whole. Your drive, sense of responsibility, and digital confidence enable you to quickly adapt to new systems and working methods.
