Operations Coordinator at the Ministry of Employment

Do you want to work at the heart of the government's management of state authorities and contribute to the development of the Ministry of Employment's operations? The Secretariat for Operational Support at the Ministry of Employment is looking for an operations coordinator focused on governance and follow-up. Here, you will work in a central function responsible for coordinating the ministry's overall operational planning, follow-up, and internal governance. The role involves being close to both the administrative and political leadership, with the task of creating structure, quality, and coherence in the work.

As an operations coordinator, you will contribute to developing and ensuring the quality of the ministry's governance of the authorities under its jurisdiction. You will work closely with the ministry's budget coordinator and controller. You will compile, analyze, and prepare various types of documentation and actively participate in development work alongside the administrative manager and colleagues. The role may also involve supporting the expedition chief's office in certain preparedness issues when necessary.

As an operations coordinator, you will work to keep together and drive processes that are central to the ministry's governance and follow-up. This means planning and coordinating the overall operational planning, following up on goals and results, and developing forms for internal governance. The work requires a strategic and analytical perspective where a holistic view is combined with the ability to work systematically and carefully with details.

A central part of the role is to contribute to quality and efficiency in the government's authority management. You will analyze documentation, identify development needs, and ensure that processes and deliveries maintain high quality. The work involves managing several parallel issues, often with tight deadlines, in an environment where coordination and clear communication are crucial.

Your Background

You have a relevant academic degree in economics, political science, or another relevant field. You have current experience in authority management within the Government Offices and several years of experience in driving processes, development work, and coordination. Furthermore, you have relevant experience in negotiations and analysis or investigative work. You have good knowledge of administrative policy, the structure of state authorities, and the conditions for the government's authority management.

It is an advantage if you have experience in preparatory work in the Government Offices, experience in project management, and current experience in one or more issues within the Ministry of Employment's areas of responsibility. Knowledge of the state budget process is also advantageous.

Good coordination and communication skills are central, as well as the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. Personal qualities are highly valued.
