You step into a central role where you support the IT operations with qualified financial assistance. You work closely with managers, administrators, and those responsible for results, contributing with analysis, follow-up, and decision-making materials in a complex and socially important organization. The role involves both ongoing controller work and a more strategic perspective where you relate IT costs to service content and business benefits.

You are responsible for parts of the monthly closing, including reserves, and actively participate in the ongoing closing work. You conduct monthly follow-ups with managers and administrators and compile reports and analyses. Furthermore, you prepare budgets and forecasts together with those responsible for results and act as expert support in financial matters. The role involves producing decision-making materials, following up on IT investments, and ensuring effectiveness and goal fulfillment. You work with business cases for investments and organizational changes, participate in contract and supplier negotiations, and take part in projects and improvement work related to follow-up and reporting. Ad hoc assignments within the financial area may occur.

• Master's degree in economics or equivalent education

• At least 5 years of experience working as a controller

• Very good understanding of accounting

• Excellent skills in Excel

• Experience working with BI tools, such as Qlik Sense or equivalent

• Ability to work closely with operations and relate IT costs to service content and business benefits

• Good communication skills and experience presenting financial relationships to non-financial professionals

• Experience in auditing

• Experience in controller work within IT operations

• Experience with the Mercur system support

• Experience in investment follow-up and business case work

• Experience in contract and supplier negotiations
