The Swedish Armed Forces is looking for an Assistant Instructor for the 313 Ground Defense Company

313 Ground Defense Company

The main tasks of the 313 Ground Defense Company are to train the conscripts of the wing. In the fall, the company provides basic training for the conscripts to educate them in the various positions available within the wing during the spring. The company participates to some extent in the Swedish Armed Forces' joint exercises as well as the Air Force's final exercises for conscripts.

The company consists of 6 platoons for the training year 26-27. One airbase security platoon, two ground defense platoons, and three functional platoons consisting of: medics, fuel, logistics, cooks, base rescue, field maintenance, staff, communication/leadership, aircraft mechanics, ground mechanics, and ordnance disposal.

Main Responsibilities

As an assistant instructor, you will support the training by leading the conscripts in their daily activities and planning and leading training sessions. Your tasks will also include supporting instructors and officers as an aide and vehicle driver.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Swedish citizen
• Driving license B
• Completed military service

You should thrive in a changing environment where you have many things going on simultaneously and can handle working under intense conditions. Your tasks may change at short notice, and you should be prepared to solve emerging tasks. Therefore, we see that you are stress-resistant, structured, and can take initiative. You should have a good ability to connect with other people and manage their different circumstances.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
