Job Advertisement: Medic to the Medical Platoon
The Staff and Logistics Company consists of a company command, command platoon, logistics platoon, support platoon, and medical platoon, and is designed to operate at all types of airports and air bases in all levels of conflict. The company establishes the capabilities and functions required for flight operations to be conducted from an air base. The company consists of employed officers, GSS, and civilian personnel.
Main Responsibilities
The Medical Platoon is tasked with establishing and staffing the unit's medical site and medical groups at the air base. As a medic, you will work on regrouping, establishing, and operating the medical site or driving the platoon's ambulance vehicle. The position involves a lot of vehicle service and material service, as well as a varied training tempo throughout the year. The position offers a challenge for those who have drive and want to work in medical care within an air force undergoing significant development.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Completed basic training in the field of Defense Medicine with a passing result, or ongoing military service with a good prognosis at the time of recruitment
- Meets the physical requirements of the Armed Forces
- Approved medical examination
Meritorious
- Military driver's license for Armored All-Terrain Vehicle, Bandvagn 206, or Ambulance 302/301
- B/C driver's license
- Trained medic
- Group leader trained
