JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in the leisure home, you, together with other teachers in the leisure home, are responsible for ensuring that the teaching in the leisure home department meets the requirements outlined in the leisure home's governing documents. The execution is done together with the entire department's staff, but you have the responsibility to ensure that the education is varied in both led and free activities and that different materials and learning environments are offered and used to stimulate students' desire to play, live, and learn. You thus have the main responsibility for ensuring that the teaching in the leisure home is goal-oriented. You work to promote students' social development and at the same time work practically to ensure that students achieve the knowledge goals, seeing this as a natural part of the daily operations. You are part of a grade team where you, together with your colleagues, support each other in the daily work and jointly drive the development of teaching and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher with a Swedish teaching license and are qualified to teach in leisure homes. Previous work for at least one school year in a Swedish school is an advantage. We expect you to have very good knowledge, both orally and in writing, of the Swedish language.

It is advantageous to have competence in language-developing work methods, signs as support, alternative and compensatory communication, experience working with students who need special support, and visual support.

You are skilled at giving students the opportunity to continue their knowledge development in leisure by working across subjects with a focus on integrating mathematics and language learning. You work with the student group as a strength where you see that differences enrich. You believe in collective learning where the individual is an asset to the group and learning situations. You use a curious, joyful, and playful approach. You are well acquainted with the leisure home's curriculum and build the operations on this. You have a knack for creating trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

It is expected that you are structured, analytical, and work goal-oriented. You want to actively participate in developing our unit and create a compensatory school that benefits all students. You have great commitment, are eager to participate in the educational debate, and see opportunities for both colleagues and students. You are cooperative, flexible, and independent. You enjoy working in teams and find it easy to build relationships and communicate with colleagues, students, and parents.
