Forssaängskolan is a F-6 school with 350 students located in the Forssa district of Borlänge. Here, a wonderful, solution-focused, driven, and engaged team of 50 people works with a focus on good teaching, study peace, and a strong belief in students' abilities. Forssaängskolan's work is based on collaboration, good relationships, solution focus, and joy at work.

In our student health work, we focus on what works, what prevents issues, and what promotes health, where the student's voice and participation are central.

We have a structured quality work where set goals guide the work in both large and small processes. Goal setting, follow-up, and evaluation are a natural part of the work in grade teams and working groups. We have four lead teachers and three team leaders who, together with all staff and school management, drive development work forward with a focus on teaching.

Forssaängskolan is a partner school to Dalarna University, which means we host student teachers during their practical training. AIL students also work in our organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a driven, communicative, inspiring, and engaged teacher with a focus on students!

You will teach Swedish and social studies and be a mentor for students in grades 4-6.

Your work will include planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of teaching and activities according to established goals and guidelines. In addition to teaching, you will develop teaching methods and routines together with the school's staff. In our working groups, we have a lively dialogue and a structured approach to how we develop our educational activities to ensure a high level of goal achievement among our students. In addition to teaching, mentoring and other tasks that occur at the school are included.

You will work closely in a grade team and be part of the grades 4-6 working group.

At our school, the most important student health work takes place in the classroom!

As a person, you are structured and clear, solution-oriented, and have a well-developed communicative ability. You lead and organize your work with creativity, clarity, and good communication. You create a safe and clear learning environment with high, clear, and positive expectations for your students. You have a strong student focus and are skilled at building relationships with others in general and with children and young people in particular. You are interested in school development, easily collaborate with others, and are stimulated by working together with colleagues to develop.

For us, it is important that you have a deep understanding of students' differences in both learning and behavior. Based on this understanding, you meet students with good structure, clarity, warmth, and high positive expectations. You maintain your calm and are solution-oriented even in challenging situations.

Desirable qualifications:

• Experience in teaching.
