The Learning Sector is responsible for all municipal activities within preschool, primary school, after-school care, adapted primary school, secondary school, adult education, and Vansbro Dance and Music School. Some of the municipality's schools also have student coaches.

We are looking for licensed teachers, but we are also open to those who are studying their final term to become teachers and intend to obtain their teaching license this year.

You will

• work purposefully to ensure our students leave school with good knowledge, self-esteem, and belief in the future
• be responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment so that students feel curiosity and a desire to learn
• together with the work team in collegial learning create opportunities for all students to succeed
• create inspiration and motivation among both students and colleagues
• experience community and a well-functioning student health service that works present directly at the school
• have the opportunity to lead development opportunities in various projects
• experience well-functioning collaboration at all levels
• stay updated with current research in school development
• individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs
• document, follow up, and evaluate.

You must

• have a teaching license to teach in adapted primary school, as well as a special education degree with a focus on intellectual disabilities
• be well acquainted with the school's governing documents
• be able to individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs
• have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• have good IT skills.

Before employment, a valid extract from the National Police Board's criminal record must be submitted.
