Fors School is part of the Fors/Nordanö principal area, which consists of two schools located in the outskirts of Avesta. The school, situated in the community of Fors and close to nature, currently has about 120 students who are taught in parallel classes. The teachers primarily work as class teachers with full pedagogical responsibility for their individual classes. At our schools, we actively work to create good conditions for learning. It is important that all students feel safe and enjoy being with us.

We are now looking for a class teacher for the middle school who wants to welcome class 4 in the fall. Would you like to become our new colleague?

We are looking for an engaged class teacher who is interested in welcoming our wonderful fourth graders in the fall. You have a teaching qualification for grades 4-6 with competence in several subjects. If you are qualified to teach mathematics, science subjects, and English, that is an advantage.

You have a good understanding that students absorb knowledge in different ways and that their circumstances may vary. You adapt your working methods to meet the needs of the students. Clarity and structure in your work are important to you. Previous experience as a teacher is a positive aspect.

You take initiative and are flexible. You value good collaboration with students, colleagues, and guardians. Resolving conflicts constructively and being attentive and clear in communication is important to you. You see our school as a whole.

A prerequisite for this position is that you have very good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written form.
