Description

Vikarbyn School is beautifully situated in the village with a view over Siljan and close to outdoor activities in forests and fields.

Currently, about 150 students attend the school from preschool to grade 6. The school has a mixed staff group with both newly qualified and experienced teachers working closely together. In the principal area, which also includes Sätra and Söderås schools, we regularly engage in collegial development work.

Job Description

As one of two special education teachers, you will work with students in need of special support and be an important resource for the other staff in their work with students and groups. You will participate in the principal area's student health team together with principals and staff from the central student health services.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special education teacher and/or has experience working with students with different learning needs. You have experience working with elementary school students and good knowledge of digital technology.

The job requires a high degree of independence and flexibility. You have the ability to create good relationships and maintain a positive attitude and strong commitment to students' learning. You are structured and work to create a holistic view of the mission at our school, and you have good collaboration skills with various professions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

The position is a permanent employment of 80-100%, based on preferences.
