RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
As a teacher at Karlfeldtgymnasiet, you will be responsible for organizing, structuring, and driving the teaching of law as well as social science subjects in the economics program based on governing documents and pedagogical tools, with support from other colleagues. You will be part of a team where there will be a shared responsibility for the tasks included in the team's area of responsibility.
JOB DUTIES:
- Teach courses at the upper secondary level.
- Act as a mentor to a class.
- Encourage students to take initiative and responsibility for their own development.
- Maintain a good dialogue with students regarding their set goals.
- Actively work to clarify and communicate knowledge requirements and the foundations for assessment, while identifying students' developmental needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and students' guardians on issues concerning individual development.
- Actively contribute to the school's and subject's development through environmental scanning within your subject areas.
- In consultation with the student health team, work to ensure that relevant measures are implemented for students in need of additional support.
- Take responsibility for your own development.
- Contribute to the school's development.
Education:
Teacher education and certification. We expect that you, as an applicant, are a qualified upper secondary teacher and hold certification for the position, which is a requirement for permanent employment. You should have sufficient knowledge to handle the digital tools and systems required for daily work and the ability to create good relationships with your students, as well as the ability to make students feel seen, acknowledged, and believed in.
