EnRival Education is starting a new healthcare education in Borlänge!

Your mission: Educationally responsible VO teacher.

We operate small, personnel-intensive school units focused on quality, engagement, and collaboration. Borlänge will be our 10th school with place-bound adult education in healthcare and social care. Our second area of operation is career guidance.

The team in Borlänge will consist of VO teachers, licensed Swedish teachers, trained educators, trained career counselors, trained supervisors, and possibly language support and support educators. A lot of competence, and we expect good results.

Your mission

You have overall pedagogical responsibility for the healthcare education, and you teach and assess students' knowledge according to the healthcare and social care program's curricula. You are responsible, together with licensed Swedish teachers, for grading, and delegate appropriate tasks to other colleagues. The role of healthcare teacher also includes planning and follow-up of APL.

Teaching takes place on-site in Borlänge, full-time. We will apply for membership in VO-College as soon as possible.

Your qualifications and background

• You have a vocational teacher's license in healthcare and social care, or equivalent documented education.
• or
• You have at least two (2) years of professional experience in healthcare and social care, and at least two (2) years of experience teaching in education within healthcare and social care within the last six years.

Regardless of your background, we expect solid knowledge of course content and learning objectives according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum.

We would be pleased if you also have knowledge of non-European languages, a license in other subjects at the upper secondary/adult education level, and experience in leading teams.

Documentation

The position involves documentation towards clients and students, as well as good collaboration with authorities and industry organizations. Good digital competence is required, as we use several digital tools. Teaching materials are available both digitally on It’sLearning and in printed format; we understand the benefits of both and always have both-and.

Your personality

You love helping people, and you are passionate about conveying knowledge. You have a good ability to motivate students to reach their goals. You have good social skills and the willingness and ability to work in and lead a group, and you know how to delegate.

Employment form

Full-time. Permanent or by agreement. A probationary period applies unless you convince us otherwise. Start date in June.
