By school is a F-6 school with 55 students. By school belongs to the Johan-Olov school principal area located in the northern part of Avesta municipality. The school is close to green areas and has an after-school program, and we collaborate with the nearby preschool. At By school, we believe that collaboration and collegial learning are key to enhancing and strengthening the competence of our staff at Johan-Olov school. Our staff works in teams where each individual plays an important role in our collective efforts to develop the school's operations and the quality of teaching.

By school is looking for a resource educator for targeted support to a student in need of special support. The work includes both individual subject support, supportive activities individually and in the regular teaching group, as well as work in a special teaching group with students who need more comprehensive adjustments. The position involves continuously planning, implementing, and following up on supportive measures in collaboration with the responsible teacher. You will, together with teachers and with the support of the school's student health and the central student health, manage ongoing contacts with guardians and collaborate with external actors such as child and adolescent healthcare. You will be part of a team and participate in the ongoing quality work of the entire operation with a focus on student learning and collegial learning. We place great importance on monitoring students' knowledge development, which is why your documentation and ongoing evaluation are important. The school works in digital systems, which requires good computer skills. It is desirable that you have an educational assistant training or training as a social pedagogue or equivalent. Good experience and knowledge of supportive work for students within the categories of AST/NPF and other corresponding functional variations are required. A lot of focus will be placed on your personal qualities before employment, as the tasks are demanding. Your skills and abilities should include readiness for suddenly changed conditions based on the student's daily form and their attitude towards the support that the student will be offered. A B driver's license is required as some transport may be included in the tasks.

You need to be stable and resilient and be prepared for changes.
