Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher in Leksand Municipality, you will work pedagogically and socially based on the goals and guidelines of the organization and applicable governing documents. A significant focus for Leksand Municipality's school activities now and in the future is the development of students' reading and writing skills, which is integrated with the current curriculum that you are well acquainted with. You will be responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching and work to promote students' learning and development.

You will work as a teacher in Physical Education and Health. Your responsibilities include collaboration with two other physical education colleagues as well as communication with students, guardians, and other authorities. You will, together with your colleagues, participate in projects aimed at developing teaching and increasing students' goal fulfillment.

Your Profile

• We are looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in Physical Education and Health
• Practical experience in the teaching profession is advantageous

As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work, you are solution-oriented and have a good ability to view situations from a holistic perspective. You are also clear, secure, creative, and have the ability to inspire our students. You enjoy collaborating in a team and sharing your experiences for collegial learning that contributes to development at the individual, group, and organizational levels. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developing, and stimulating learning environment for the students.

About the Workplace

Sammilsdalskolan 7-9 is a secondary school with 460 students in six parallel classes. We utilize Google's platforms with students and Teams among staff. We work according to a Language, Reading, and Writing plan across all schools in the municipality. This initiative is reflected in all school subjects, not just Swedish.
