Västra School is a school for grades 7-9 with approximately 540 students, centrally located in Falun. We are within walking distance to the theater, Dalarnas Museum, the City Library, and the World Heritage site in Falun. Job Responsibilities

You will teach Spanish and another subject based on your qualifications and may have mentoring students. You will be part of subject teams and mentoring teams that have regular meetings. In the subject team, you will have the opportunity to discuss and develop teaching together with a team of qualified teachers. Within the mentoring team, you will have the opportunity to plan joint activities and have dialogue with other mentoring colleagues in the school's overall work.

Qualifications

The role requires:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach Spanish and another subject for grades 7-9

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible, clear, and structured teacher in the classroom and have a positive and solution-focused approach. Meritorious Qualifications

• Relevant and current work experience
• Several years of experience teaching grades 7-9
• That you are trained to mentor teacher students
• That you are well acquainted with applicable governing documents
• Good digital competence

Employment Conditions

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting August 10, 2026.
