At the Säter culture school, you work closely with your colleagues. You are part of a team with educators in voluntary activities and music teachers working in elementary school. The working method is democratic, and we collaborate on pedagogical work and cooperate for the best of the operations. You are involved in decision-making processes, and we continuously work together to develop the operations. The motto of the culture school - a Culture School for everyone!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Individual teaching of clarinet and saxophone (flute)
• Ensemble/orchestra leadership
• Participation in Säterblåset
• Participation in school projects such as graduation ceremonies, performances, and concerts

QUALIFICATIONS

• Music college or equivalent competence (e.g., pedagogical education from folk high school in music)
• Pedagogical education in music (woodwinds)
• Ensemble leadership/orchestra leadership
• Experience in leading and organizing work around orchestra and ensemble
• Pedagogical experience of working in elementary school
• Working with people
• You have the ability to work with others; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and recognize and reward others' contributions
• Creating relationships and networks
• You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in various contexts and functions.
• Planning and organizing
• You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities.

OTHER

• The position is 50% but can be extended to 70% and the applicant may also teach flute.
• Start date is immediate (after recruitment ends) or when the applicant can start.
