Fors School is part of the Fors/Nordanö principal area, consisting of two schools located in the outskirts of Avesta. The school, situated in the community of Fors but close to nature, currently has about 120 students who are taught in parallel classes. At our school, we actively work to create good conditions for learning. It is important that all students feel safe and enjoy being with us.

We are looking for you, a certified teacher, who has a teaching license suitable for the age group in grades 1-6. You are interested and knowledgeable in the subject of music and want to teach our students in this subject. For a permanent position to be relevant, you must be certified to teach music. The position also includes other teaching, and it is an advantage if your certification covers several subjects in grades 1-6. Particularly advantageous is if you have a teaching license for teaching English in grades 4-6.

We would like you to have experience working as a teacher in primary school, but we also welcome applications from newly graduated teachers.

As a person, you are secure and stable. You take responsibility and drive your work forward. You value good collaboration with colleagues, students, and guardians and see the school as a whole. You show understanding that everyone absorbs knowledge in different ways and adapt your teaching according to the prevailing conditions. Solving conflicts constructively and being attentive and clear in communication is important to you.

If no qualified applicant is found, another applicant may be hired but for a limited period; in such cases, experience working in grades 1-6 is positive.

For this position, you must be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
