JOB DESCRIPTION

Teacher for grades 4-6 in central Malung

We are looking for teachers for the middle school with qualifications in multiple subjects.

Currently, we need more certified teachers in:

• mathematics
• Swedish
• Swedish as a second language
• English
• technology
• science subjects
• social studies subjects
• physical education and health
• crafts
• music

Some of the positions are part-time (especially in the practical aesthetic subjects), but some may potentially be combined with other subjects or with positions in grades 7-9 to achieve full-time employment.

If you have qualifications in several of the subjects we are looking for, we will discuss a relevant arrangement.

If you have qualifications in one of these subjects and another subject that we are currently not seeking, please submit an application and we will see if we can still match.

You will work as a teacher in grades 4, 5, or 6 in central Malung.

The position will be shaped based on your competencies and the subjects you are qualified to teach.

Your work will include planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching and students' learning based on LGR22. You will take an active role and develop the operations within your subjects and together with the work team. Most of our positions also include mentoring responsibilities.

We value collegial learning and collaboration. You will have close cooperation with your colleagues to develop teaching and create the best possible conditions for students' learning. The work also includes assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development as well as active participation in the school's development work.

We continuously work on developing accessible learning environments and language and knowledge-developing working methods, and we are looking for engaged teachers who want to be a part of this work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained teacher, have a teaching license, and are qualified to teach up to grade 6. It is beneficial if you have the competence and qualifications to teach in as many subjects as possible.

If you have the competence and experience of teaching but do not currently have a license, we still welcome you to apply for the position, and we may find a solution towards your certification while you work with us.
