We are seeking a candidate with experience working with children with diabetes

NOTE! This position will be filled immediately upon receipt of a suitable application. You must have a qualification as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) or child care worker (barnskötare). Your assignment is to take responsibility for a child with diabetes and manage all related care. You must have knowledge of how diabetes works and experience in handling insulin pumps and similar equipment. Experience with similar assignments is an asset.

About the workplace
Immanuel Preschool is a wonderful workplace with ample room for creativity and growth. Decisions are made close to the staff, and there are good opportunities to influence your daily work. The preschool was established in 2007 and currently has 26 children divided into two departments with a total of five educators working here.

Your qualifications
You must have experience working in a preschool. You need to be flexible and adaptable as the departments support each other and work closely together to a large extent. We look for someone who is creative, positive, and responsible. You do not have independent responsibility for activities but will assist where needed based on the child's requirements.

Our activities
The preschool has two departments: one for the younger children (Lille Skutt) and one for the older children (Bamse). We work very practically and creatively, and we wish to give music and dance/movement a significant place in our activities. Staff planning occurs both at the department level and collectively at various times, with a staff meeting held in the evenings once a month. Each department has an art studio and several rooms where various activities can be offered to the children. Discovering and inventing on one's own is important, as is providing tools to handle one's environment. We go on excursions every Tuesday; the older children have gymnastics in a nearby gym, while the younger ones have mini-gymnastics. The preschool has a Christian foundation where we aim to convey every child's unique value and how valuable each person is because "I am who I am".
