Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in the adapted primary school for grades 4–9 at Centralskolan in central Malung, you will, together with colleagues and the work team, be responsible for leading the pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum's mission. You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching with a focus on creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for the students.

At Centralskolan, we value collegial learning and collaboration. You will work closely with your colleagues to develop teaching and create the best possible conditions for student learning. The work also includes assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development, as well as active participation in the school's development work.

The positions include mentorship responsibilities for students.

We are now looking for two new colleagues for our adapted primary school in grades 4–9. The positions are 75%.

Qualifications

  • Are a qualified and licensed teacher with a special education teacher training focused on intellectual disabilities.
  • Are a clear leader in the classroom who plans teaching based on students' prerequisites.
  • Have a good approach and a strong ability to establish and develop relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Understand that good relationships promote the entire teaching situation and create security for you and your students.
  • Are inspired by young people's curiosity and engagement, thereby contributing to active learning for each individual student.
  • Are flexible regarding all daily and long-term changes that are part of the pedagogical work.
