We are now looking for a leisure educator or teacher for the leisure home at Brevik School.

Your Responsibilities

At Brevik School's leisure home/school, we build our work on good relationships with both students and parents as well as with colleagues. As an educator in the leisure home, you will help drive the pedagogical work forward together with a team. You contribute with your own development drive where you plan and implement activities with great commitment while participating in developing the operations together with others in the team. We are constantly working to develop our leisure home to create an educational and enjoyable environment based on the governing documents that apply to leisure homes.

You will also collaborate with teachers and other school staff based on the needs that arise and the competence required during school hours. We strongly believe in utilizing the power of collegial learning to learn together.

Your Competence

You are a licensed leisure educator/teacher in the leisure home or have other educational training/competence that the employer considers equivalent.

You should be clear in your professional role and want to contribute your competence for the best of students, parents, and colleagues. It is also important that you are secure in your role as an educator and have a desire to contribute to a good working environment together with other colleagues. We also see that you are communicative, solution-focused, and have a professional approach towards your surroundings.

The position is subject to background checks. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
