Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Jenny Nyström School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation and has over 800 students enrolled in six different national programs and three introductory programs. Within Jenny Nyström School, there is also adapted upper secondary school. We are a forward-thinking school with an open climate that believes in both you as a teacher and our students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a licensed teacher specializing in health and care subjects for the Health and Care Program at Jenny Nyström School.

You will teach core subjects within the program and work closely with colleagues, students, and the labor market. The position also includes supervision of APL and mentorship. The assignment is to teach in vocational introduction.

You will be part of an engaged team working together to create an accessible, current, and inspiring education, where students are given the best conditions to succeed both in school and in their future careers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is qualified to teach vocational subjects within health and care education or has relevant professional experience and is willing to train as a vocational teacher.

We would prefer if you have worked as a nurse.

We see that you are easy to collaborate with, that you focus on the student's learning, that you have good knowledge of using digital tools, and that you are passionate about development work.
