We are looking for a teacher in textile crafts for Ringeltaubska School, Loftahammar School, and Överum School.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, assessing, and grading in Textile Crafts for grades 3-6. Your tasks involve planning, implementing, and evaluating work individually and together with other educators at the school according to the schools' governing documents and our vision in mind. You will conduct your own teaching and also collaborate closely with other educators in the activities.

Working hours may vary slightly between terms depending on the number of groups and local conditions. Other subjects may become relevant depending on your qualifications.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. It is your responsibility to create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are a role model for all students at the school.

The scope of the position may be expanded depending on your qualifications and the needs of the organization.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification in textile crafts for primary school. Previous experience as a teacher in primary school is an advantage.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You need to be self-assured, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and young people absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization.

A driver's license and access to your own car are required for the position.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
