We are now looking for a MA/NO teacher for grades 7-9 at Ankarsrums School.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching individually and together with other educators at the school according to the school's governing documents and with our vision in mind. You will collaborate with colleagues to create larger and smaller teaching groups based on students' needs. Planning and implementation of teaching are continuously followed up and evaluated, and if necessary, co-planning occurs with a special educator.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. An important part of the assignment is to be an engaged and present teacher in the classroom who consciously works to create good learning environments characterized by safety and study peace. You build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and are a clear adult role model for the school's students.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification in MA/NO for grades 7-9. We consider it an advantage if you have training in special education.

We prefer that you have several years of experience in teaching. To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You are confident in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness.

For the role, it is important that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability and clear leadership in the classroom. You have a good understanding of how children and adolescents absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning. You work in a structured manner, are flexible, and can easily adapt teaching to students' needs and changing conditions in the operation.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
