The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and social orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is that the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality should have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute coordinator with us, you have a central role in creating a safe and stable everyday life for both students and colleagues. You play a key role in operational collaboration where you coordinate and fill substitute needs to ensure that teaching occurs as planned. During the school day, you work closely with the operations by stepping in as a substitute in various grades and subjects. In the pedagogical work, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching together with colleagues, ensuring that each student has the best conditions for success.

In addition to the direct work in the classroom, you are responsible for long-term resource planning. This means you plan upcoming substitutes and recruit, select, and introduce new substitutes to our school. The position also includes some responsibility for managing students' digital devices, which means we are looking for someone with good ICT skills. You serve as an important link between students, parents, and staff, and we see that you are a person driven to create good relationships and a safe working environment for all.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying have a teaching license with authorization to teach math, Swedish, and English in elementary school. You are well-versed in the school curriculum, and we would like you to have teaching experience.

We are looking for someone who wants to continue developing our school. You have good collaboration skills and plan, implement, and evaluate the operations together with your colleagues. Reflection on learning is a given for you, and you are happy to share with others in collegial learning. You are flexible and have good pedagogical insight. Additionally, you are structured and have clear leadership in the classroom. Experience teaching students in adapted elementary school is an advantage.
