Become a dance leader for our children's groups in Kalmar and/or Nybro

We are looking for someone who:

• has a dance background and/or experience in dance teaching
• has positive energy and is passionate about creating joy in movement and community
• is at least 18 years old

As a dance leader for children aged 4-8, you will be responsible for the group and lead playful, creative dance classes. You will plan and conduct each lesson based on MDANCE's lesson structure, where joy in movement, safety, and development are the focus.

Extra duties: If needed, you may be asked to substitute for other dance classes.

Working hours: The working hours are scheduled for evenings and weekends.

Salary: You will be paid per hour for the classes you hold. Salary is paid monthly according to agreement. Vacation pay is paid out with the salary.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Start date: As soon as possible

If you are called for an interview, it will consist of two parts:

1) A conversation where we get to know you and discuss the role.

2) A practical part where you:

• lead a short warm-up (about 5–10 minutes)

• show a short solo piece that demonstrates your dance skills

The practical part helps us see how you lead, dance, and engage.

Everyone who works with children with us needs to present an extract from the police criminal record before employment.

MDANCE is a growing dance organization in Kalmar and Nybro focusing on joy, community, and development through dance.

At MDANCE, we work based on a concept that combines continuity with flexibility. We offer monthly fees instead of high term fees, making it easier for more people to participate and allowing us to offer more dance weeks than many other private dance schools.

We only take breaks during the summer holidays (weeks 25–33) and the Christmas holidays (weeks 51–3).
