Krungårdsskolan in Blomstermåla is a K-9 school with approximately 250 students (from preschool class to grade 9) and includes both primary school and adapted school.

At Krungårdsskolan, we work with Challenging Learning – a joint pedagogical initiative and approach in Mönsterås Municipality's preschools and primary schools. The initiative has five focus areas: dialogue, feedback, transitions, challenges, and mindset. The goal is to create teaching that strengthens students' thinking, creativity, and curiosity, makes them more aware of their own learning, and contributes to increased goal achievement.

At Krungårdsskolan, there is a clear commitment to both safety, participation, and students' development even outside the classroom. To develop this, the school works with the TL/Wellbeing Program as a pedagogical tool for increased activity, safety, and structure during breaks, where breaks are used to promote physical activity while providing students with tools in leadership and inclusion.

The school is also part of KulturCrew Kalmar County, where students in grades 4-9 are trained and supported in the role of organizers of culture within the framework of the school's regular activities. This strengthens students' participation and influence and contributes to the development of the status of culture in the school over time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for qualified teachers for three positions and welcome applications from you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in one or more of the following subjects: Spanish, Social Studies, Natural Science, Mathematics, and Textile Crafts.

• Spanish grades 6-9
• Social Studies grades 7-9
• Natural Science grades 7-9
• Mathematics grades 7-9
• Textile Crafts grades 3-9 and adapted primary school. This position is a shared position between Krungårdsskolan and Mölstadskolan.

As a teacher with us, you will among other things:

• plan, implement, and follow up on teaching according to the curriculum
• assess and document students' knowledge development
• work for a safe study environment and good relationships with students and guardians
• collaborate in working groups and subject groups on teaching development
• have shared mentorship for a class

QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching certification with qualifications in relevant subject(s) and grade level/stage
• Good ability to lead teaching and create structure and study peace
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious: experience of teaching in grades 7-9, adapted primary school, mentorship, special educational competence, experience with digital teaching tools.
