The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also for Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and community orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is that the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality should have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work within the after-school center together with your colleagues. You are well-versed in the after-school center's curriculum and are accustomed to working with current goals and quality standards within the after-school center's operations. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set forth in the curriculum, contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the after-school center's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel safe in the school and after-school center's activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher in after-school care. We would like you to have experience in similar work within after-school care.

As a person, we see that you are secure, stable, and positive. You are calm and responsive in your interactions, which contributes to creating good and trusting relationships with both students and adults. You find it easy to collaborate with others and work to create an open and unpretentious collaborative climate where innovation is encouraged and where everyone takes joint responsibility for achieving set goals.

You have a creative flair and are happy to contribute thoughts and ideas that you also implement in practice to develop both daily work and the organization as a whole. In this work, you are also keen to create participation and engagement among both colleagues and students, and you encourage others to dare to take initiative, thus helping those around you to grow and develop. Furthermore, we see that you are a communicatively skilled person with the ability to convey information in a clear yet pedagogical manner, adapting communication based on the recipient's needs and the current situation.
