The Department of Children and Education in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also for Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and community orientation for newcomers. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a subject teacher in wood and metal crafts, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well acquainted with the curriculum of the compulsory school and used to working with the applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory school activities. The position includes teaching wood and metal crafts for grades 3-9 at Vimarskolan and outer schools. Mentorship may be included in the position if necessary. The position is 90% but may be increased to 100% based on the needs of the operation.

You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set by the compulsory school curriculum, contributing to fulfilling the compulsory school's mission with good quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel safe in the school's activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach grades 3-9. You have a good understanding of the compulsory school curriculum and preferably experience in the teaching profession. We prefer that you have experience in teaching crafts.

As a person, you are a secure leader who creates motivation and engagement among students and colleagues. You are attentive, open, and contribute to a positive collaborative climate where problems are solved constructively. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You are responsible and can plan and structure your work independently. At the same time, you are creative and are happy to contribute new ideas to develop the operation.
