Rödsleskolan is located next to the picturesque Döderhultsdalen. The school has about 730 students distributed across grades F-3, 4-6, and 7-9, as well as about 100 staff members. All educators belong to a work team with an associated coordinator.

At Rödsleskolan, there is dedicated staff with a positive and inclusive approach who work to provide students with a good school day. We work purposefully and with great respect for each other's similarities and differences. Rödsleskolan is a Practice School that, together with Linnaeus University, trains new teachers. This means that we have several students in our operations.

We are now looking for a licensed and committed leisure teacher who wants to become part of our operations at Rödsleskolan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your mission with us is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet and teach. Great emphasis is placed on relationships and a special educational approach.

The position includes work at one of our leisure centers, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for teaching. During school hours, you will work in preschool class and carry out various teaching assignments based on needs. There is scheduled planning, both individually and together with colleagues.

As a leisure teacher with us:

• You are responsible for ensuring that the teaching is designed in accordance with the Education Act, curriculum, and other national and municipal governing documents.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the teaching complements preschool and elementary school and that collaboration occurs with these school forms.
• You promote a holistic view of teaching where learning, development, and care are included.
• You continuously follow up on the development of students and student groups and base your work on results to develop the operations.
• You offer students a meaningful leisure time by starting from their needs, interests, and experiences, but also by continuously challenging them further and inspiring new discoveries.
• You ensure that the teaching aims to promote students' imagination, empathy, and ability to learn together with others through play, movement, creative expression, and exploratory and practical methods.
• You promote a trusting, open, and respectful collaboration with homes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in leisure or a leisure pedagogue.
