Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Jenny Nyström School is one of the upper secondary schools in Kalmarsund Gymnasium Federation and has over 900 students distributed across six different national programs and three introductory programs. Within Jenny Nyström School, there is also adapted upper secondary school. We are a forward-thinking school with an open climate that believes in both you as a teacher and our students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a substitute Physical Education teacher, you will be responsible for teaching the subject of Physical Education and Health at the upper secondary level. The assignment involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with applicable governing documents and the school's pedagogical goals.

Job Duties:

• Plan and conduct lessons in Physical Education and Health
• Assess and document students' knowledge development
• Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Ensure order, safety, and supervision during physical education classes
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and other school staff
• Participate in conferences and meetings as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed upper secondary teacher.

The assignment requires good leadership skills, clear structure, and a professional approach towards students and colleagues.

OTHER

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work within the school must be presented.
