We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute preschool teacher at Preschool Oden.

Your Responsibilities

Together with other educators at the preschool, you will develop, drive, and implement the preschool's mission based on our governing documents and with our vision in sight. As a preschool teacher, you have unique opportunities to influence children's development and learning. The role includes planning, follow-up, and documentation of the work. An important task is to create inspiring and challenging learning environments at the preschool.

As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for the preschool's educational content and work to promote each child's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

In Västervik municipality, we strive for an equitable preschool throughout the municipality. We work to develop systematic quality work with pedagogical documentation and exploratory methods as tools.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a preschool teacher degree. For the position, you also need to have a B driver's license and access to a car.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You need to be confident in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning. It is also important that you can take initiative and start activities in the operation.

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide an extract from the police record before employment occurs.
