The Child and Education Administration in Vimmerby municipality is responsible for all educational activities, from preschool to university, and also oversees Swedish for immigrants (SFI) and community orientation for newcomers. Our common goal is for the children and youth of Vimmerby municipality to have the best conditions to meet the future and develop into creative, curious, and secure individuals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work at your workplace. You are well-versed in the curriculum of compulsory school and accustomed to working with applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory school system. You are a good role model and adhere to the norms and values set forth in the curriculum, contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of the compulsory school's mission with high quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development in the German language and to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel secure in the school's activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades F-9 with the required subject qualifications.

You have a good understanding of people's differences and relate to others in an open and attentive manner both in your teaching and in the school's daily life. In this way, you contribute to creating an open and unpretentious collaborative climate where questions and potential challenges can be resolved constructively and where everyone takes shared responsibility for achieving set goals. This approach means that you find it easy to build good and trusting relationships with both students and guardians as well as colleagues.

Furthermore, we see that you are a responsible person who is comfortable planning and structuring your work based on applicable goals and quality standards within the compulsory school system. At the same time, we value innovative thinking in the organization and would like you to be someone who brings ideas and new thoughts that you also implement in practice to contribute to the development of both daily work and the organization as a whole.
