Kalmarsund High School Federation is a municipal federation tasked with conducting and developing upper secondary education and municipal adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4000 students and 600 employees distributed across our five schools.

Jenny Nyström School is one of the high schools in Kalmarsund High School Federation and has over 900 students distributed across six different national programs and five introductory programs. Within Jenny Nyström School, there is also an adapted upper secondary school. We are a forward-thinking school with an open climate that believes in both you as a teacher and in our students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a pedagogical assistant for one of our introductory programs. The main task is to lead students in their learning together with the teachers, which is done by being with the student throughout the school day. You coach and support the students in what they need to develop and experience a professional school day.

The school day is individually adapted to each student's needs. It involves both the students' personal development, help with pedagogy, contact with guardians, and care. We work systematically to ensure that we create an accessible learning environment for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have worked with youth. A high school education in Child and Leisure or Health and Care or a pedagogical assistant education is beneficial. You are flexible and willing to help where needed.

You have a good demeanor, can communicate clearly, have empathetic abilities, and find it easy to work in a group. A service-oriented approach is a given in our operations. Here we help each other so that everyone can grow and develop. This also applies to you, where you will have the opportunity to develop in close collaboration with colleagues in work teams and through continuous professional development.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

OTHER

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record for work within schools must be presented.
