Our patients are children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues. Many have learning difficulties or high school absenteeism, in addition to or because of this. Our strength within BUP is the strong teamwork. Here, as a special educator, you will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team with doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and secretaries.

You will work independently and as part of the team with school observations and parental support, collaborate with schools, and provide support to team colleagues in collaboration with the school. We want you to succeed, and you will be offered further education and professional development. About You

You who apply have a degree in special education, and a B driver's license is a requirement. Experience working with children with disabilities in the neuropsychiatric field and/or work at a child and adolescent psychiatric clinic is an advantage. As a person, you are engaged and have a great interest in development and learning. You see the value of good collaboration and enjoy sharing and receiving new knowledge and experiences.

Your Future Workplace

You will work in new and modern premises adapted for specialist psychiatry. The premises contribute to better coordination for psychiatric activities and a good working environment for you. BUP consists of inpatient care and an emergency department located in Kalmar and outpatient clinics in Västervik, Kalmar, and Oskarshamn.
