We are located in Kristdala and are a smaller preschool with 2 departments. We are an active preschool that is close to everything! At the preschool, we consciously work based on participation and influence, where we see the preschool as a meeting place where everyone is equally valued - we are in a democratic context.

We start from the child's perspective and are curious about what they see and explore. For us working at Majbacken, it is important to listen to everyone, to reflect together, and to learn together. We are aware of our environment and the materials we use - we create environments for the children that encourage play and imagination, that provide opportunities for interaction and community, but also environments for calm and peace. We work in smaller groups and offer the children a varied experience at their preschool!

JOB DESCRIPTION

In the role of preschool assistant, you will work based on the curriculum for preschool. Together with preschool teachers and others in the work team, you are active and work with both planned and spontaneous teaching. You create educational, creative, and developing environments for all children.

Your tasks include making children's learning processes and development visible through pedagogical documentation. As a preschool assistant, you are involved in teaching children in a playful and motivating way. It also includes having a trusting relationship with guardians, colleagues, and other actors connected to the preschool.

In interaction with the world around us, we learn from each other. All children get to feel satisfaction from making progress, overcoming difficulties, and feeling that they are an asset to the group. It is your task to start from the child's interest and at the same time consciously direct the child's learning towards the goals of education.

We work on projects where children have rich opportunities to broaden their thinking and exploration together with other children and adults, teaching that is playful and interdisciplinary.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a preschool assistant degree. In addition to the academic requirements, we also see your personal qualities as very important; we want you to:

• have the ability to collaborate, inspire, and spread joy at work
• have a humble approach where a good view of children and good treatment is given, "everyone can and wants to"
• see children's different needs and create good relationships based on this
• be structured and flexible
• enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• be able to communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written
