Care Coordinator at BUP Kalmar
Do you want to help develop child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) in Kalmar County? We can offer you a stimulating and developing job as a care coordinator at BUP Kalmar!
As a care coordinator at BUP, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, special educators, caregivers, and secretaries who value strong and positive teamwork.
In your role, you will develop and streamline our administrative processes to give our therapists more space for direct patient work, including planning, coordinating, and booking care interventions. The role includes responsibility for coordinating waiting lists for treatment and assessment, in dialogue with the unit manager, as well as contacting patients and guardians as needed during the waiting period. We meet children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues, where you, together with us, contribute to a positive change.
In your role, you collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders around the patient, such as schools, child habilitation, and social services. Together with a fellow care coordinator, you will handle planning, support, and introduction for ST doctors, AT doctors, and medical students. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing operational data and register maintenance. Administrative tasks related to treatment conferences are also included. Furthermore, you actively contribute to a positive work environment.
We offer benefits such as flexible working hours, wellness grants, and extra vacation days when you turn 40 and 50!
About You
We are looking for someone who is a social worker, licensed nurse, or has another higher education with a focus on care or behavioral science that the employer deems equivalent. Experience in specialist psychiatry and administrative work is an advantage.
You have a good ability to build and maintain good relationships with patients and colleagues. In the role of care coordinator, you meet many people, and your professional demeanor along with your genuine service attitude contributes to a positive experience for everyone you meet.
To thrive with us, you appreciate the complex and varied nature of the work. This requires that you are flexible and can independently organize your work efficiently so that processes move forward. We are convinced that you, just like us, value actively contributing to job satisfaction and helpfulness among colleagues.
You share our commitment to the Region Kalmar County strategy: Every day a little better – the power of many! This means that you are curious and creative when it comes to initiating improvements, development, and knowledge exchange among colleagues. We will place great importance on your personal qualities, so that both you and we can enjoy working together.

You will work in new and modern facilities adapted for specialist psychiatry. The facilities contribute to better coordination for psychiatric services and a good work environment for you.
