JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want a job where you have the opportunity to make a difference for others every day? The team for financial assistance is expanding, and we are looking for two new colleagues who want to work with social change efforts for adults in the area of financial assistance.

Working with financial assistance in Kalmar Municipality means qualified social work where we curiously and actively want to help people stand on their own feet and achieve independence, both socially and economically. You will work in a mapping and motivating manner with those you meet and collaborate with other actors, both internally and externally. You will follow up on interventions and work solution-focused together with the client.

We work process-oriented by starting from the client's needs. This means that you will have close cooperation with other units and, if necessary, act as a case handler in more complex cases. You contribute to an evidence-based practice where theory, experience, and the client's perspective weigh equally. We have a holistic view and see how different things are interconnected and affect each other. We have a positive view of humanity, which means that we assume that everyone takes responsibility and can, wants, and is allowed to contribute to the results of the work. All this we do to make a difference for the people we are here for.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, and we would like you to have prior experience working with financial assistance. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working with the business system Lifecare. We also value good knowledge of the support systems in society.

To thrive in this role, we believe you are curious and driven by a desire to see opportunities in new situations you encounter. You have the ability to meet and motivate people who are often in vulnerable situations. A large part of the work involves being able to create trusting relationships and have good collaboration with both clients and colleagues. We believe you are used to taking initiative, driving your work forward, and taking responsibility for completing your tasks.

The role also requires that you are accustomed to expressing yourself, as visits to clients are part of your work, and you need to have a B driver's license.
