The Role of Educator The overarching purpose and goal of the position is for our participants, with the help of individually tailored pedagogical support (IPSU), to become independent and complete their educational efforts with satisfactory results. We are now looking for a full-time educator in Kalmar. As an educator, you will support individual participants with disabilities who are undergoing training through the Employment Service. Support is provided in the specific areas where the participant needs assistance, namely through pedagogical interventions and work with assistive devices. Based on the needs in the educational situation, IPSU is tailored with the right competencies, pedagogical interventions, and assistive devices for each participant. You will work with participants at the training locations. Travel to various training sites is required. You will be part of a team with other educators in the nearby area, as well as specialists and coordinators. To thrive in this role, you should feel comfortable working independently with participants, be solution-focused, and flexible. Communication, feedback, and building good relationships with participants, colleagues, clients, and others come naturally to you. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Eligibility Requirements Work Experience • Documented experience working with individuals with disabilities in an educational setting for at least 1 year. • Documented experience working with cognitive aids in an educational setting for at least 1 year. Work experience must be certified with documentation from previous employers. Educational Requirements Relevant education in pedagogy and/or working with individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Sign language proficiency We Offer You Every employee is equally important to Clustera's success!
