We are now looking for a committed and secure social worker to replace a colleague who is moving on to new challenges within the municipality.

We offer you a stimulating assignment that focuses on actively working with change processes at both the individual and organizational levels in a workgroup with high staff density, long experience, and joy at work. As a new employee, you will receive thorough training that lasts for about two years, including mentorship support from two experienced colleagues, providing excellent opportunities to further develop your skills.

We work with MI and according to the MIX method, and you will receive continuous training. We also have supervision for the case management group.

Your Responsibilities

Within the supply services, we focus on self-sufficiency and employment, work, and education. As a social worker, you will be the process leader in your cases and collaborate both internally and externally. We always have two social workers working together on each case. We are looking for someone who wants to actively work with change processes at both the individual and organizational levels. Preparations are currently underway for the activity requirement for all who receive social assistance, which is expected to come into effect in 2026.

Your tasks will include case management, investigation, decisions within the area of financial assistance and interventions, support, motivational work, and collaboration with individuals, colleagues, and partners. Supervision for students in the profession and mentorship for newly hired colleagues may periodically be part of your regular duties.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or social pedagogy (180 higher education credits). Experience in the field is an advantage, but if you are newly graduated, that is not a hindrance.

The position requires good knowledge in meeting people with different needs and backgrounds. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

To succeed and thrive in the role, you must be able to work independently, be flexible, and have the ability to easily adapt to changes in the organization. You need to have good collaboration skills, be calm and stable, and have a strong empathetic ability. We value creativity in your work and that you have a holistic view in your tasks.
