JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a dedicated employee for our housing support operations within Adult Functional Support. The operation is tasked with implementing decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) regarding housing support, as well as providing services according to LSS such as escort services and relief services for adults.

The operation aims to promote equality in living conditions and full participation in society. The services should be provided with respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. The services should meet the goal of ensuring the individual a reasonable standard of living and thereby give the individual the opportunity to live like others and lead as independent a life as possible.

As a support pedagogue within housing support, you will implement and strengthen pedagogical methods and working approaches. In your role, you will work on developing documentation, which includes ensuring the quality of implementation plans. You will also support and guide your colleagues in the pedagogical work surrounding the users. The role also involves driving the pedagogical work with methods such as clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal responses, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).

We work with annual working hours and have full-time as the norm. The work includes shifts during the day, evening, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a pedagogical or behavioral science degree or another post-secondary degree with relevant orientation for the target group. You need to have broad knowledge of disabilities and various diagnoses we encounter such as autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, substance abuse and dependency, as well as psychiatric diagnoses.

It is important that you have good knowledge of low-arousal responses and that you implement this knowledge in your daily work. As a person, you need to be curious about contributing to improvements in the operation, be used to working independently, and be able to make your own assessments. Furthermore, we see that you have good collaborative skills and can cooperate both internally and externally. The daily work is varied, and we therefore place great importance on you being flexible and solution-focused.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
