About the Client

The client is a cheerful and curious 35-year-old man diagnosed with low-level infantile autism. He enjoys long walks, listening to music, and participating in social activities such as visiting cafes/restaurants.

Due to his diagnosis, the client has communication difficulties. He understands spoken language but does not have his own speech; instead, he communicates through sounds and physical contact.

What Does Educational Responsibility and Leadership Role Entail?

As the educationally responsible assistant, you play a key role in creating security, structure, and continuity in the client's daily life. You work closely with the client and are responsible for ensuring that the assistance is tailored to their needs, routines, and individual goals. You also lead the daily educational work within the assistant team, which means supporting colleagues in how to adapt their approach, communication, and activities to promote the client's participation and well-being. The role also includes documenting, following up, and developing working methods together with the project manager and legal guardian.

We are looking for someone who is structured, attentive, and confident in their role. You have a good ability to see the big picture and create clarity for both the client and the work team.

You thrive in taking responsibility, collaborating, and creating a stable work environment where the client is always at the center.

Experience with autism and knowledge of low-arousal approaches and clear pedagogical methods are considered advantageous.

About the Position:

The position is 60% with immediate start. Work shifts are scheduled as 24-hour shifts with some waiting time and double staffing around the clock.
