Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smoothly functioning everyday life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• Wants to work with a 44-year-old man living just outside Mönsterås
• Is social, family-oriented, and enjoys creating a safe and positive everyday life
• Has good knowledge of Swedish
• Has a driver's license (a license for automatic transmission is sufficient)
• Can tolerate pets
• Is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work
• Share interests with the man, including construction projects around the house and gardening

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 80%. The job involves varied working hours. Shifts are scheduled as follows:

Day: 08:00-20:00 Night: 20:00-08:00 (on-call between 00:00 - 04:12)

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
