JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Family Home Unit consists of a group of child caseworkers and a group of recruiters and family home support. The child caseworkers are divided into two teams, and we are now looking for a 1st Social Worker for one of the teams.

We offer you a stimulating and responsible job alongside a dedicated workgroup that works as child caseworkers for placed children. As a 1st Social Worker, you provide your team with daily support in method and case guidance and lead and distribute the work. The job also includes, in the long run, representing the social welfare board in the unit's cases during court processes regarding LVU (The Care of Young People Act).

At weekly meetings, you maintain the structure. The unit's family home support also participates in the meetings to work together based on the three-part parenthood with the child's needs in focus.

You work closely with your manager and the other team's 1st Social Worker, as well as with the unit manager for recruiters and family home support. Together, we work on quality and development issues and keep the Signs of Safety approach alive in the different teams. We care about providing good service to those we exist for and have a salutogenic approach. We value our good work environment and support and help each other in daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for an engaged and action-oriented 1st Social Worker with experience in team leadership. You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently. As a person, you are structured and have the ability to handle complex and difficult cases. Sometimes the work can change quickly, which requires you to adapt to new situations. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and have a respectful attitude towards everyone you meet.

You feel confident leading a group and have basic knowledge of group processes. You should want to lead with a coaching approach, i.e., with the fundamental view of supporting individuals to find their own solutions and develop their potential by asking questions and listening actively.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with Signs of Safety.

You have a degree in social work or another equivalent education according to current eligibility requirements.

A valid driver's license (B) is required. Ongoing selection, interviews may be held before the application deadline.
